Amazon Lex Voice Applications

Amazon Lex is a service for building conversational interfaces into any application using voice and text. It could be used for conversational interfaces to build up your voice chat bots in the cloud.

Amazon Polly

Is the text to speech solution of Amazon. Using in their cloud contact center it is now possible to have endless amount of real-time dynamic announcements in multiple languages.

Amazon S3 and EC2

Using Amazon's cloud architecture storing files are supported natively in your contect center. For example storing your call recordings and being able to listen to them globally is a must have in today's contact centers for training purposes.

Amazon Lambda

AWS Lambda lets you run code without provisioning or managing servers. You pay only for the compute time you consume - there is no charge when your code is not running. Amazon Connect can interact with your own systems and take different paths in contact flows dynamically. To achieve this, invoke Lambda functions, fetch results in a contact flow, and call your own services or interact with other AWS data stores or services.

Amazon IAM management

Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM) enables you to manage access to AWS services and resources securely. Using IAM, you can create and manage AWS users and groups, and use permissions to allow and deny their access to AWS resources.

Amazon IAM Enterprise Federation

If you already manage user identities outside of AWS, you can use IAM identity providers instead of creating IAM users in your AWS account. With an identity provider (IdP), you can manage your user identities outside of AWS and give these external user identities permissions to use AWS resources in your account. This is useful if your organization already has its own identity system, such as a corporate user directory. It is also useful if you are creating a mobile app or web application that requires access to AWS resources.
